Green Bay Packers Bring In Former Kansas City Chiefs And Dallas Cowboys Running Back (Breaking)
The Green Bay Packers have an uncertain future at the running back position. Aaron Jones has been their bread and butter for years, however, with his age (29), contract (17M next season), and injuries this year, it is unclear if he will be back in Green Bay.
It is likely the Packers will do something to address the future of the position in the off-season, however, that won’t stop the Packers from trying to find a diamond in the rough this year. That is exactly what they tried to do on Monday.
The Green Bay Packers Work Out Former Kansas City Chiefs And Dallas Cowboys Running Back Brenden Knox
NFL reporter Aaron Wilson announced the Green Bay Packers worked running back Brenden Knox.
Having been signed as an undrafted free agent, Brenden Knox has spent time with both the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL. Additionally, he was recently drafted by the Seattle Sea Dragons into the XFL.
During his three-year college career at Marshall, Knox accumulated over 3,000 yards from scrimmage and 25 touchdowns. With a 6-foot-2, 225-pound frame, he’s the ideal size for a power running back.
In the XFL he rushed 14 times for 46 yards and one touchdown.
