Not just another game': revenge in air as Rob Edwards' Luton face Watford | Luton Town | The Guardian

Luton Town team news v Everton as four players ruled out of Premier League clash

Four Luton Town players are set to miss the game against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday (30 September) in the Premier League.

According to injury expert Ben Dinnery on his website Premier Injuries (28 September), Albert Sambi Lakonga, Dan Potts, Jordan Clark, and Gabriel Osho are all “ruled out” of Saturday’s encounter.

There’s also a 50 per cent chance that former Evertonian Ross Barkey and Thomas Lockyer will miss the game against the Toffees, according to Dinnery.

Confident on another victory

Both Sean Dyche and his Everton boys will be in great confidence heading into Saturday’s game at Goodison Park after some terrific away victories both at Brentford last weekend and now against Aston Villa in the EFL Cup on Wednesday (27 September).

It finally looks as if Dyche has got his team on song and playing to the same hymn sheet after these two results and the Toffees will up against a Luton Town team with several players out and without a win in their newly promoted campaign.

Rob Edwards’ side cannot be taken for granted despite their form, picking up just one point from their five games so far and scoring just three goals but they will come to Goodison Park ready to play football.

This is the Premier League, and Everton simply cannot afford to be complacent one bit.

Dyche will certainly not allow that but he will be heading into this game with players in fine form, not least James Garner and Dominic Calvert-Lewin who have both contributed heavily to some fine victories this month.

Both players will be heading into Saturday’s contest as key Toffees men and two crucial factors in Everton possibly recording their third win on the bounce.

In other Everton news, the Toffees are locked in a Premier League battle to sign one of the hottest teenage footballing talents in Brazil with a January exit now possible.
