Bell: ‘Let’s rise to the occasion’
Lee Bell has urged his players to rise to the occasion when Stockport County visit tonight (Tuesday, 7.45pm).
A big crowd is expected to gather to watch a mouthwatering clash between two sides occupying automatic promotion spots in League Two.
Leaders Stockport and third-placed Crewe will go head-to-head in what is sure to be an exciting encounter under the lights.
Manager Bell said: “It’ll be a really good atmosphere because I’m sure they will sell out their end and we will get a good number coming to the game too.
“Hopefully, we will get the selection right and the lads embrace the occasion and put on another good performance.
“We have a lot of confidence at home. It’ll be a really tough game – but they’ll know they are in for a tough game as well.
“Stockport are full of experience and know-how. We’ve looked at what we might do in terms of formation against them and who might come into the fold.”
Stockport have won their last eight league games on the spin to climb to the summit, while the Alex are unbeaten in 14 games at Mornflake Stadium.
