Jordan Love Vocal on Aaron Jones’ Key Role in Green Bay Packers’ Huge Win Vs. Los Angeles Rams
Sunday’s huge win over the Los Angeles Rams was exactly what the Green Bay Packers needed to end their recent slump. Green Bay looked like a dominant force against the Super Bowl LVI champs in their 20-3 statement win.
The Packers rushed for 184 yards on the evening against LA’s 68, which is obviously a key factor in the victory. Aaron Jones turned in arguably his best performance of the season as he led the offensive charge for Green Bay.

Thanks to Green Bay’s effectiveness in their run game against LA, a lot of pressure was taken off Jordan Love in terms of his passing. He had some high praise for Jones, who is now just returning to full strength after missing multiple games due to injury.

“It was very big,” said Love, via Paul Bretl of Packers Wire. “Anytime you have a player like that you want to give him the ball as much as you can. Get him going, get him into a rhythm, and I think that’s what we did early. We were getting him some touches. Getting him going. He balled out. He was able to make some really good runs. Had a couple good catches. But like I said, anytime you can get him going, get him in a rhythm, it’s big time.”
Jones had 20 carry attempts against LA for a season-high 73 yards. He averaged just 3.6 yards per carry, which isn’t exactly eye-popping numbers, but still, there’s no denying how effective Jones was on the day.
Jones has been dealing with a hamstring injury all season long, but it appears that he’s now finally getting over the hump. It goes without saying that the Packers will need their star running back fully healthy for the rest of the way.
