City are one of five clubs said to be interested in the winger, alongside Ipswich Town, Blackburn Rovers, Hull City and Birmingham City. The 20-year-old impressed during a loan with League One Charlton last season when he scored 15 goals and provided eight assists in 43 appearances.

Rak-Sakyi was an unused substitute as Palace beat Sheffield United 1-0 on the opening day of the new Premier League season Ahead of that game, Hodgson outlined the Eagles’ stance on the youngster.
“We like Jes – we’re happy to have him back. We like what we see in training. As a coach, I am in no hurry to ask him to leave to go on loan,” he said via London News online.
“One hopes that will be the case, but these matters with young players can be complicated because they have their own feelings about getting match minutes. They also have agents who are suggesting to them that the next move in their career needs to be another loan.
“It’s a constant matter for discussion. We, the coaching staff, are happy to have him and happy to be working with him. Who knows? Let’s hope he stays with us rather than go on loan.”
Hull City boss Liam Rosenior has confirmed that the Tigers are one of the clubs interested in signing the winger should he be made available. “We’re aware of him,” he told BBC Humberside Sport.
“I’ve known Jes for a long time. I’ve watched him. He had an outstanding loan at Charlton. There are a lot of clubs that are interested and he is someone that we are looking at at the moment.”
