The latest updates for Birmingham City on the transfer market.

Birmingham City have already made moves on the transfer market, having welcomed the likes of Ethan Laird, Tyler Roberts and Koji Miyoshi over the threshold. Here are the latest transfer updates for the Blues and their Championship rivals for Thursday, July 6th

Dion Sanderson to Birmingham City transfer: Wolves sticking point and John Eustace's stance - Birmingham Live.

Birmingham continue their pursuit of Dion Sanderson from Wolves this summer but a recent update has reported that talks aren’t moving as smoothly as the club may have liked. In BirminghamLive’s latest Q&A Facebook session, Alex Dicken discussed the Blues’ interest in the defender.

“Negotiations are at a bit of a standstill. Blues are very mindful of overpaying given that they have struck some quite sensible deals so far. I’m told that Wolves want £2.25 million for Sanderson and that is likely to include bonuses, presumably a sell-on clause too. I’m also told Blues have bid in excess of £1.5m so they aren’t a million miles apart.

“Wolves are going to play on the fact that Blues really want to sign him. I’m also beginning to get the impression that Sanderson is quite keen to return to Blues. And it’s no secret John Eustace would love to have Sanderson back in his team next season.”

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Middlesbrough have completed a deal to sign Manchester City youth player Morgan Rogers. A ‘permanent deal’ has been agreed and medical tests are currently being held, with paperwork set to be signed

At just 20 years old, Rogers has a lot to prove on the professional stage, having mainly played youth teams. However, he has enjoyed stints with Blackpool, Lincoln City and Bournemouth — he has 36 goals and 22 assists in his career so far, across several age groups.
