Hull City boss Liam Rosenior has been nominated as the Championship’s Manager of the Month for the first time in his short career after an impressive September. During the month, City went unbeaten in their five games and took four points off recently relegated duo Leicester City and Leeds United, while being held to a home draw by last season’s beaten play-off finalists Coventry City.
The Tigers also produced a dominant 3-1 win at Stoke City in front of the television cameras, a result which capped the best start to a Championship season, notching up nine points to move fourth in the lea
City ended the month with a 1-1 draw at home to the League One winners Plymouth Argyle, and for that impressive work, Rosenior’s work has been highlighted, though, he faces some tough competition, all of whom claimed more points in the month.

Erol Bulut (Cardiff City)
It can be hard to instil belief when your team is losing points from winning positions, but Bulut has managed it impressively with four straight wins and 12 points from five games, which included a derby day win over Swansea.
Kieran McKenna (Ipswich Town)
Not only has McKenna built a side full of attacking intent, he has also instilled the determination to fight back when they fall behind. The 3-2 win over Cardiff from 2-0 down stood out in a haul of 13 points from five unbeaten games.
Tony Mowbray (Sunderland)
Sunderland fans are loving the swashbuckling football that Mowbray is overseeing at the Stadium of Light. His attacking young side scored three goals or more in each of their four September wins to collect 12 points from five games.
