More sales! Trevoh Chalobah will be allowed to leave Chelsea in January after Bayern Munich and Nottingham Forest expressed interest in him in the summer.
Trevoh Chalobah, a disgrace to Chelsea, is expected to leave Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window.
Tip for Chalobah to depart Defender for Chelsea has not yet played this year.
Set to transfer out in January
WHAT OCCURED? Chalobah has not yet appeared on the field for Chelsea this year and is most likely to be a periphery player until January. The defender was rumored to be moving to Nottingham Forest and Bayern Munich, but those deals fell through. The 24-year-old is reportedly likely to move during the winter transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano, despite manager Mauricio Pochettino’s denial that the academy product has been “frozen out.”
THE BIGGER PICTURE: If Chalobah were to leave the team, he would join a list of 15 players who have left the organization since the summer, including Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount, and others. The Blues, on the other hand, spent about £400 million ($492 million) on transfers during the most recent transfer window.
