While looking for a new club, an ex-Nottingham Forest player attended a Championship game.
Taylor left the City Ground in the summer after three years with the club when his contract expired, according to the most recent Nottingham Forest news.

Lyle Taylor, a former striker for Nottingham Forest, was spotted watching Sheffield Wednesday’s Championship game on Tuesday night as he looks for a new team.

The 33-year-old hasn’t been signed by a team since leaving Forest in the summer when his contract expired. He can sign for teams outside of the transfer window because he is a free agent.

Taylor, who stayed at Forest last season, has not participated in a domestic first team match for almost a season. Prior to being left off the roster for the rest of the season, he played as a substitute in the first two Premier League games. In April, he made his lone appearance in a Premier League 2 matchup against Aston Villa, scoring in a 4-3 victory.

Despite playing fewer domestic games, Taylor has continued to compete internationally. During the most recent international break, he led Montserrat in games against Barbados and the Dominican Republic, scoring a brace against Barbados.

The striker now appears to be nearing a Championship switch, as Taylor is present at Hillsborough for Sheffield Wednesday’s match against Middlesbrough, reports the Sheffield Star. It follows certain “rumors” that the Owls would be interested in signing the free agent.

Wednesday can sign and register a free agent to fill the vacant slot in the Championship squad since they have one open spot left. His presence indicates that there may be some validity to the rumors, but it is unclear if they will spread further.
