According to reports, Nottingham Forest received an incredible deal when they acquired Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea this summer. On the day of the transfer deadline, the Reds acquired the winger to sever his ties to the Blues.
The Reds secured an incredible deal for the player who has represented England, according to The Telegraph. He is said to have cost the club under £3 million, which is quite amazing.
At Chelsea, Hudson-Odoi made an immediate impression. He put on a number of impressive performances, and Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund were once interested in signing him.
He’s been lost the last few years. Due to a catastrophic Achilles injury that hampered his development, Mauricio Pochettino decided to sell the player—who is still only 22 years old—this
summer.
Hudson-Odoi has previously received praise. He has been dubbed “incredible” by Frank Lampard, and he will be hoping to advance his career while at Forest.

In all seriousness, the Reds signing Hudson-Odoi is insane. He could prove to be a terrific addition if Steve Cooper can get him in the proper frame of mind and produce the form he did at Chelsea a few years back.
There is work for the player to do though. First, he will have to get himself into the team. With Anthony Elanga starting his City Ground career well too, there is competition.
Hudson-Odoi is an exciting addition to the ranks. Given his injury record of the last few years, perhaps the jury will remain out for a little bit but he should soon be up to speed.
