Stoke City suffer another injury blow ahead of Bristol City as problems grow for Alex Neil
Stoke City have fallen down the Championship table amid a five-match winless run
Stoke City will be without forward Tyrese Campbell for Saturday’s trip to Bristol City as the injuries continue to mount up for Alex Neil in what has been a challenging start to the season.
Campbell ium on Sunday with a hamstring issue that Neil has confirmed could keep tleft the field after just 13 minutes during Stoke’s 3-1 defeat to Hull City at the Bet365 Stadhe 23-year-old out until the next international break.
Campbell, who has started the Potters last four games, joins new signing Ryan Mmaee on the sidelines, while there are doubts over a third forward in top-scorer Andre Vidigal who also sustained an injury towards the end of the game
against Hull.
Neil’s selection for Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup clash at Premier League Bournemouth could offer an insight into his plans for the weekend at Ashton Gate, but the Scot’s forward options for Ashton Gate look increasingly limited with Vidigal, if fit, plus Wesley and Sead Haksabanovic, with the latter two yet to open their accounts since signing in the summer
