Business is boosted when a cab company displays a Vincent Kompany mural.
A taxi company in Burnley said they experienced an increase in revenue as a result of presenting Vincent Kompany with a painting.
The massive mural, which was painted on the building’s side by the artist Jamie Buckley in collaboration with Kings Taxi on Yorkshire Street.
The mural honors Belgian manager Vincent Kompany’s thus far successful tenure with the Clarets, which included gaining promotion back to the Premier League at the first opportunity, by featuring Kompany and the club’s logo.
Omar Zaman, the company’s manager since August, said he wanted to honor the club for all of the good work they do for the neighborhood.
We did it because we love the club, he remarked.
Burnley’s Kings Taxis has a Burnley FC mural outside of it.
“I love watching football. When he was in charge, my brother always used claret and blue to beautify the company.
Jamie is quite artistic and has created a number of murals in the region. Before creating this design, I went to him and described my vision.
Jamie is the talented artist who created the Liam Gallagher mural in Penny Black’s beer garden and the Claret mural at The Turf pub.
Despite the jabs some of his pals are making at him, Omar said he is pleased of the finished painting, which took five days to complete.
“A lot of money is being invested in Burnley right now, so I thought I could do,” he claimed.
“Burnley does a lot in the community and people from all backgrounds seem to have an interest in the club.”
Omar said the mural has been a boost for business since its completion at the end of August.
