Fulham may have been handed their second chance to get striker Serhou Guirassy, with a release clause coming into effect next summer.

That’s according to BILD, who say the striker ‘becomes a bargain’ next summer thanks to a €20m clause in his contract.

Fulham were keen on the striker towards the end of the summer transfer window when they made a late move in an attempt to find a replacement for Aleksandr Mitrovic.

Fulham will surely be among them as they still need a striker and showed interest in the summer and now BILD report that they might have their opportunity as Guiarassy’s current deal, which runs until 2026, includes a €20m release clause.

That’s considered a ‘cheap transfer fee’ for the player, particularly if he continues his current goalscoring form for the remainder of the season.
