Maxx Crosby Makes Clear Statement On His Fit With Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders have seen their season take an interesting turn this year.
Coming into the season there was a hope they could compete for a playoff berth
But, the first half of their year has been a complete disaster.
The Raiders were not performing up to their standard and that is why head coach Josh McDaniels was fired.
For the interim coach position, the Raiders promoted linebackers coach Antonio Pierce.
He led the Raiders to a dominant victory in his first game.
One player that has dominated the entire season for the Raiders is edge rusher Maxx Crosby.
He has continued to lead the Raiders defense and is a strong candidate for Defensive Player of the Year.
Crosby loves playing in Las Vegas and feels like this is where he was always meant to be.
According to NFL on ESPN, Crosby said: “I was meant to be a Raider. I don’t fit in.”
Crosby has put up monster stats so far this season.
He has 9.5 sacks in nine games this season and has 13 tackles for loss.
He is a true game-wrecker and one of the best in the sport.
It seems like the firing of McDaniels and the hiring of Pierce lit a spark in this team.
They played with much more passion last week en route to a 30-6 win over the New York Giants.
With a record of 4-5, they must go on a long winning streak to get back into the playoff picture.
But, with a player like Crosby on defense, nothing should be out of the question
