Sheron, a midfielder for Oldham Athletic, signs a one-year extension
Nathan Sheron, a midfielder, has extended his contract by one year, keeping him at Boundary Park through the summer of 2025.
The 25-year-old was acquired by John Sheridan from Harrogate Town in the summer of 2022, and he has since been a constant in all but two league games, playing every minute of his 54 appearances.
Sheron stated of his new contract, which served as payment for his tireless work in the middle of the field, “I’m excited and over the moon to have signed a new contract with the club.
“I’m proud of myself right now.
“I simply want to keep participating in games, putting forth consistent efforts, and assisting the team in winning games.”
Sheron has earned his contract extension, according to interim manager Steve Thompson.
“I’m glad Shez has a new contract, and I’m happy for him. Definitely merited,” he remarked.
He is a utility player as well as a no-nonsense midfielder who can provide you choices. I’m happy for him because it’s well-deserved.
