Andre Drummond Reaches 10,000 Career Rebounds

Chicago Bulls’ big man Andre Drummond has been one of the most dominant centers in the league since his debut. The UConn product has called himself the best rebounder in NBA history, and his numbers on the glass are still climbing. Drummond now has another milestone under his belt as he pulled down career rebound No. 10,000 on Monday against the Utah Jazz.

It came on an offensive board and tip-in on DeMar DeRozan’s missed baseline jumper midway through the second quarter.

During the ensuing timeout, the Bulls took a moment to celebrate Drummond’s achievement.

Drummond became the 43rd player in NBA history to record 10,000 rebounds. The 30-year-old has always taken pride in cleaning the glass, knowing his efforts would generate more offense for his team while mitigating opponents’ scoring chances.

Whether he starts or comes off the bench, his rebound total is typically near the top of the game’s leaderboard. Monday was no different as he pulled down seven boards, only trailing Nikola Vuevic among Bulls’ leaders.
