Before they are crushed, an American woman is overcome with pleasure after receiving a Wrexham ticket. 5-0
Since Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over the club two years ago, Wrexham’s fan base in the US has multiplied.

An American fan of Wrexham sobbed happy tears upon learning she had a ticket to the game, only to see her team lose 5-0.

Since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, two well-known Hollywood figures, took over as the Dragons’ managers in 2021, the team’s global fan base has skyrocketed. The ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ documentary on Disney+ sparked more curiosity.

As a result, more Americans are keeping track of Wrexham’s progress not only online but also in person at games. Obtaining a ticket is frequently easier said than done. As a result, one fan from the US was overjoyed when she found a seat for Saturday’s League Two match at Stockport County.

After the match, she posted: “Not the result we wanted, but I got to see the team play and feel the atmosphere of UK football. It’s so different than back home, so I’m glad for the experience. I’m thankful for my time in town and know I’ll be back for another game soon enough!”
