Details have been confirmed for Northampton’s tie in the upcoming First Round of the FA Cup, which will see them play Barrow at Sixfields.

The Cobblers will host the League Two side on Saturday November 4th, with the game taking place as a 1:30pm kick-off.

The early kick-off is to avoid the game being simultaneously played with the Northampton Saints, who have a home game against Bath on the same day as a 3pm start.

Confirmation of the game’s date and kick-off time came along with Northampton Town announcing that tickets are on sale, with details available from the club’s website.

Northampton were drawn against Barrow in the FA Cup draw last Sunday, where they will play against a side they faced in each of the last two seasons in the 4th tier.

The Cobblers beat Barrow home and away when they played each other in League Two last season, winning 3-1 at home in September 2022 and 2-0 away in January.

Barrow currently sit 14th in League Two, having won 4 of their first 12 League Two matches.

The Cobblers are aiming to win an FA Cup tie since the 2019/20 season, having knocked out of the FA Cup in the First Round in each of the last 3 seasons.
