Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Tottenham have reached an agreement to sign Croatian wonderkid Luka Vuskovic.
He shared the update on his social media, giving the deal his trademark ‘here we go’.
He shared that the everything is sealed between the clubs and the player and that the defender will join Tottenham in 2025.
“EXCL: Tottenham have completed the agreement to sign Luka Vusković from Hajduk Split, here we go confirmed — done deal.”
“It’s all sealed on clubs and player side.”
“16 year old top talented centre back will join Spurs in 2025.”
“Exclusive story, confirmed.”
The Croatian wonderkid has been a standout performer for Hajduk Split and is highly regarded for his defensive prowess and ball-playing abilities.
Due to Vuskovic’s young age, he is expected to remain with his current club, Hajduk, until he turns 18, allowing him to continue his development before joining Tottenham.
The highly promising young defender possesses the potential to solidify his position as a first-team player for Tottenham.
His development could ultimately translate to substantial savings for the London club in the transfer market should he fulfill his potential with them.
Tottenham continue to build their squad under Ange Postecoglou with a long-term project in mind.
They have already signed 7 players in the summer including Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, Manor Solomon, Micky van de Ven, Ashley Phillips, Brennan Johnson, and Alejo Veliz.
Ange has a reputation for working with young players and developing them. Young striker Veliz made the bench yesterday against Arsenal. Which is why there is no doubt that Luka Vuskovic could be integrated in the first team if he is ready by 18.
