Panthers HC Announces Big Change On Offense For Cowboys Game

The Carolina Panthers were hoping that the 2023 NFL season would be the beginning of a bright future for the struggling franchise, with the team pulling out all the stops to trade for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, which turned out to be quarterback Bryce Young out of the University of Alabama.

Although the Panthers didn’t have incredibly high expectations heading into the 2023 campaign with a rookie quarterback under center right out of the gate, the team was hoping for better results up to this point in the season.

Heading into Week 11, the Panthers are sporting a record of 1-8, with Carolina sitting at the bottom of the NFC South division standings and looking like a team that will need to go back to the draft to further improve this roster.

With the Panthers set to go head-to-head against the stout defense of the Dallas Cowboys, it appears the team has decided to make a significant change, with head coach Frank Reich taking over the play-calling duties once again, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This week might not have been the best time to make such a change, as they’ll be facing one of the best defenses in the NFL right now, with Micah Parsons and company hungry to get as many wins as possible for the rest of the season to improve their standing in the NFC playoff picture.

However, the Panthers don’t have anything to lose right now, so the change might not be that big of a deal unless it leads to a shocking upset win over Dallas.
