THE OPPOSITION

Chesterfield are in their sixth consecutive season at this level, following relegation from the EFL in 2018.

They were moments away from a return to League Two last season, losing the National League playoff final to Notts County on penalties.

The Spireites are looking to go on step further this season and are five points clear at the top of the table, with nine wins and one draw from their first 11 games.

They added EFL experience in the summer with additions such as Michael Jacobs, Tom Naylor and Will Grigg.

Jacobs scored in their 3-2 win over Wealdstone on Saturday.
