Sportsnet and TSN 1050 will call the game for Toronto. Monumental Sports and The Team 980 will broadcast for Washington.

What to Watch For

  • It’s been an up-and-down start to the season for Toronto but a win over the lowly Wizards would allow the Raptors to move to 5-5 through the first 10 games. Considering how the season started, that’s a great spot for Toronto to be in as the group continues to get accustomed to its new offensive.
  • Scottie Barnes was a little too reliant on his three-point shot the other night against the Boston Celtics, attempting nine from behind the arc. While the shot appears to be improving, it’s not at a point where he should be taking that many threes on a regular basis. Toronto needs Barnes back in attack mode where he’s at his best attacking the rim.
  • Precious Achiuwa wasn’t particularly effective in his first game back from his groin strain. He’s still working his way back into form but Toronto needs Achiuwa to provide consistent and impact minutes off the bench more often. He has the tools to be an effective player but needs to work on his decision making at both ends of the court.
