Once touted as a future star in Miami, Justise Winslow is working his way back to the NBA with Raptors 905

Selected No. 10 overall in 2015, Winslow played five solid seasons with the Heat but never blossomed into a star. “I know what type of player I am.”

Justise Winslow is on a little bit of an NBA career-rebirth journey and he knows it’s a day-by-day process.

The 27-year-old last played NBA minutes back in December when he was with the Portland Trail Blazers, exiting a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder with what the team called a left ankle injury. He underwent season-ending surgery three months later.
