Latest predicted Championship table forecasts surprises for Birmingham City, Southampton, Norwich City, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Cardiff City

The Championship standings could look very different at the end of the season according to the latest table prediction.

We’re approaching game week 10 of the Championship, and there’s already been some changes in how the rest of the 2023/24 campaign is about to pan out.

It comes as no surprise that early-season favourites Leicester City are at the top of the pile, after a brilliant start to the season under Enzo Maresca. The Foxes won against Blackburn Rovers on the weekend, and will want to maintain their good run of form in to the international break.

As for BirminghamWorld’s two Midlands clubs, well both currently occupy a place in the top 12. Carlos Corberan despite the off-the-field issues and an injury crisis that is affecting such a small squad, are currently just three points off of the play-offs, and last week recorded an incredible 4-0 win over Preston North End, who had a 100% home record at Deepdale.

Birmingham City meanwhile are 12th, but are holding on after going through the whole month of September without winning a game. John Eustace’s side have been hit with a raft of injuries, and it’s now taking its toll on the team, who picked up just two points last month.

Another defeat on their travels took place last weekend, as they lost to Norwich City at Carrow Road. Both results have had a slight baring in how the league is said to be finishing come May.

Players, managers and even fans can sometimes affect situations so whilst this is good to see, remember there are plenty of twist and turns that can still happen from betwen now and May.

Flick through the pages to see where your side will finish. The table starts from 24th with the three relegation spots, and works its way down to the play-offs, and then ultimately the two teams that win the Championship title and automatic promotion.
