Sources: Nottingham Forest agree terms with Hudson-Odoi after new Chelsea talks
Nottingham Forest have agreed personal terms with Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi, sources have told Football Insider.
Steve Cooper’s team are close to agreeing a deal for the 22-year-old after his potential move to Fulham collapsed.
Forest are in advanced talks with Chelsea over a the fee and structure of the deal, and those will continue on Saturday
It is believed that Hudson-Odoi already has an agreement in principle with Forest over a long-term contract.
Hudson-Odoi has entered the final year of his contract at Chelsea and his value has fallen considerably from the £70million of two years ago.
Chelsea rejected an offer from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2021 to take the out of favour attacker on loan for the season with an option to buy for £70m.

The winger spent last season on loan with Bayer Leverkusen where he made 21 appearances across all competitions, scoring once.
Hudson-Odoi was closing in on a move to neighbours Fulham but Football Insider revealed (23 August) that negotiations between the sides collapsed.
The 22-year-old was granted permission by the Blues to discuss a move after decided that he wanted to move on from the London club.
Hudson-Odoi has featured for Chelsea’s first team 126 times since his progression to the senior side in 2019.
The winger has been left out of the squad for all three of the Londoners’ opening Premier League games of the 2023-24 campaign.
