A significant injury boost has been given to Cardiff City ahead of their matchup with Sunderland on Sunday.
This weekend’s Championship meeting between the two clubs is scheduled to take place at the Stadium of Light, and both teams will be hampered by injury problems.
Aaron Ramsey, a former star of Arsenal and Juventus, is in contention to face Tony Mowbray’s team, giving the Welsh club a huge boost
“Aaron was rested because he had a problem with his adductor muscle when he was away with the national team and he felt it again against Swansea,” Cardiff manager Erol Bulut stated.
He’ll be back for Sunderland on Sunday, but I couldn’t risk him suffering any more injuries.
Even so, Josh Bowler and Callum O’Dowda might not make it to the Stadium of Light. Cardiff has won two straight games, including a victory over Swansea City last weekend.
