Buffalo Bills’ newest additions, Rasul Douglas and Linval Joseph, will both suit up vs. Bengals (Inactives)
The Buffalo Bills’ newest additions, cornerback Rasul Douglas and defensive tackle Linval Joseph, are both active and will play on Sunday Night Football against the CIncinnati Bengals.
Douglas was acquired at the NFL trade deadline on October 31 while Linval Joseph joined the team on Thursday. Despite being in Buffalo for less than one week, both could see significant reps against the Bengals.
Douglas, 28, is expected to eventually be the team’s No. 1 cornerback. His snap counts could be limited, however, in his debut. Dane Jackson and Christian Benford, the team’s starters since losing cornerback Tre’Davious White, are both active despite the latter popping up on the injury report on Friday with a hamstring injury.
Joseph, 35, will be rotated into the Bills’ defensive tackle rotation along with Ed Oliver, Jordan Phillips and Tim Settle. The veteran, most recently with the Philadelphia Eagles, was once considered among the league’s elite in run defense. Buffalo will hope that Joseph can help the unit slow down Joe Mixon on Sunday Night Football. To make room for Joseph, Poona Ford will not suit up for the Bills in primetime
Here is a look at the Bills’ entire inactive list.
