Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes provided injury updates on multiple players that the team should be getting back for the 2024 season. LA missed multiple players last season that they were expecting to count on but couldn’t due to injury. The first was for starting pitcher Walker Buehler who missed the entire year while recovering from Tommy John Surgery. “Walker Buehler, who had a second Tommy John surgery in Aug. 2022, is progressing as the team would hope, and is “throwing and feeling well.” Per Brandon Gomes via Dodger Insider Getting Buehler back should help bolster the Dodgers rotation next season, and he will give them another strong arm to rely upon. Gomes via Dodger Insider Lux will be a solid addition to the Dodgers lineup, and the team believes that he can come back to full strength. In 2022, he hit .276 with six home runs and 42 runs batted in over 129 games. This will be his first full season as the full-time shortstop, and LA is very excited to see what Lux can do. Both updates bode well for the Dodgers next season, and they should be getting back two very good contributors to the roster.
