WREXHAM AFC: Plenty of fight needed in the Reds’ ranks
WE all know that Wrexham’s players will fight for each other to make sure there are positive outcomes.
However, last week’s Welcome to Wrexham episodes demonstrated they’re also not shy in standing up to each other.
Captain Ben Tozer wasn’t pleased with Paul Mullin when a first half chance was spurned during last season’s match at title rivals Notts County and both players weren’t backward in coming forward with their own points of view.
I’ve got a lot of time for that attitude – and hopefully the Reds’ players cleared the air following the five-goal thrashing at Stockport.
That result seemingly came out of nowhere after a great run in the league and a response is required in front of another packed-out STōK Cae Ras for tomorrow’s big clash with Crewe.
