He has demonstrated during his time at Arsenal that he is capable of making a significant impact at the top level, therefore he would be a very helpful addition to our team. The main goal is Julen Lopetegui.

Leandro Trossard of Arsenal breaks pastr Reece James of Chelsea during the Premier League match between Chelsea FC and Arsenal FC at Stamford Bridg...West Ham United are apparently interested in signing Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard.

Leandro Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton back in January 2023, but interestingly, he was linked with a move to The Hammers the year

West Ham are currently light in the attacking department, with numerous reinforcements required.

Julen Lopetegui needs more competition and cover in both the left and right wing departments.

Trossard would be a very useful option for us – he has proved during his time with Arsenal that he’s good enough to make a big difference at the very highest level.

However, there’s a catch that the Hammers fans should be very worried about…

Leandro Trossard on West Ham radar

The Hammers are seemingly on the hunt to improve our attacking ranks at the London Stadium.

According to a report from Claret and Hugh, West Ham are monitoring Trossard’s situation at Arsenal ahead of the January transfer window.

However, the bad news is that could mean that Mohammed Kudus will swap the London Stadium for the Emirates.

Losing Kudus will obviously be terrible news for us, but bringing in someone like Trossard would undoubtedly soften the blow.

He racked up 17 goals and two assists in total for Arsenal last term.

In 34 Premier League games he bagged 12 goals and one assist (Transfermarkt).

However, his form has been patchy at best for the Gunners this season, and a recent report suggested that he could leave the Emirates in January, or next summer (The Mirror).

Despite his poor form for Arsenal recently, there’s no doubt that Leandro Trossard would make a huge difference for West Ham.

He’s extremely gifted from a technical perspective and is an elite finisher.

If we can pick him up for a decent fee, lets say somewhere around £25-30 million, then I think he’d be a worthwhile signing for us.Leandro Trossard of Arsenal breaks pastr Reece James of Chelsea during the Premier League match between Chelsea FC and Arsenal FC at Stamford Bridg...

However, it’s worth remembering that he’ll be 30 in December, and he definitely shouldn’t be viewed as a like for like replacement for Kudu
