£10 million Following a latext statement on X, a West Ham player who is frustrated with his playing time and is willing to accept a wage cut to join Ipswich Town is hinting about a transfer departure.
West Ham United full-back Vladimir Coufal has hinted that he wants to leave the club as he has been struggling for game time under Julen Lopetegui, who finds his managerial job position under threat after an underwhelming start to the season.
West Ham sit 14th after 11 games and have won just one of their last four games with their last match being a 0-0 draw against Everton before the international break. Coufal has struggled to get onto the field this season as he has made just five Premier League appearances.
The Czech international has been at the London Stadium since October 2020 when he signed from Slavia Prague and has made over 160 appearances for the Hammers. He helped them to the Europa Conference League title in 2023 – West Ham’s first European trophy in 58 years.
