Everton face another tough test in the Premier League this weekend as the Toffees are set to welcome Brentford to Goodison Park.

Sean Dyche heads into this one fresh off the back of an international break where he’s had the time to work more closely with his players and improve the fitness of a couple.

Armando Broja has been ruled out of the Brentford clash, with the striker set to undergo a program with the Under-21s before he starts putting himself around for the first team.

Jarrad Branthwaite faces a late test, whilst Dwight McNeil has come through training all good and will likely play his part as normal against Brentford.

In a blow for Everton, Thomas Frank has confirmed that both Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo are fine to travel and play at Goodison Park on Saturday.

There were doubts over the pair during the international break heading into the Everton clash.

However, those doubts have been put to one side as the pair of them, plus Ethan Pinnock, look to be fit enough to play against the Toffees this weekend.

Hounslow Herald reporter Sam Tabuteau was at Thomas Frank’s press conference covering Brentford, and he revealed that the three stars are all expected to be available.

Sean Dyche’s team selection just got even more important

Sean Dyche now has a big decision to make when it comes to who he turns to in defence.

Jarrad Branthwaite has been risked before, and it didn’t pay off as he’s suffered an injury twice now this season after returning, but at the same time, there’s pressure to use him after the Southampton incident.

Meanwhile, Mbeumo has been tearing things up on the right-hand side for Everton, which means he’s going to be up against Vitalii Mykolenko, who has been labelled as a weak link.

Michael Keane and James Tarkowski aren’t the quickest, but they do possess the experience and strength to deal with someone like Wissa, it’s just we never know what version of the pair will turn up.
