Meet the coaches that will take charge of Leicester City against Brentford if new manager isn’t appointed in time
Leicester City are facing a race against a clock to appoint a new manager.
The Foxes make the trip to the capital to face Brentford on Saturday knowing that three points would go a long way in their quest for Premier League survival.
At the time of writing, Leicester won’t have a permanent manager in the dugout on Saturday after the Foxes sacked Steve Cooper.
Graham Potter has already turned down the Leicester job, as well as David Moyes, leaving Ruud van Nistelrooy and West Brom boss Carlos Corberan as the current frontrunners.
In the statement confirming Cooper’s sacking, the Foxes revealed the trio that would be in charge for the game this weekend if they can’t bring in a replacement in time.
So, with that, meet the three coaches we could see in the dugout at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Ben Dawson
One of the newest members of the Leicester coaching staff, Ben Dawson joined from Newcastle United in the summer.
Dawson was best known for working with the academy sides up in the north east and worked as the head of academy coach. His last role was as a first team development coach in which he helped oversee the transition of players from the youth teams into the senior squad.
Andrew Hughes
Andrew Hughes was considered to be a coup after joining from Norwich City as a new set-piece coach.
Hughes was a journeyman throughout his career before beginning his coaching career under David Wagner at Norwich City and had been working as a first-team coach since May 2023.
He was one of Cooper’s first appointments in the summer and was targeted with improving the Foxes both offensively and defensively from set pieces, but will now could be in the dugout too.
