Clemensnäs HC fell against Hudiksvall
Clemensnäs HC continues to make it for the top teams in the Hockeyettan, but despite good performances, they have had difficulty converting it into victories.
On Saturday, another honorable loss came when Clemensnäs pushed Hudiksvall into the last but ultimately fell 2-4 in a match where Skellefteå AIK’s J20 goalkeeper Casper Ruud was the ice’s best player with 39 saves on 43 shots.
The teams will meet again on Sunday and Clemensnäs will then seek revenge for Saturday’s loss.

Got a point – after the goalkeeper’s great play: “There was enough to do”
It was a real dream start that paved the way for Clemensnäs HC when Piteå HC hosted for Wednesday’s hockey one-on-one meeting. A forgotten Oliver Kempainen got the puck in front of the goal and was able to net just two minutes into the event.
But the lead would not last much longer. When the home team got the chance in numerical superiority, it narrowed immediately, and before the end of the first act, Piteå had taken over the lead with a goal signed by Jacob Sundin.
– I think we start well and we get a feel, but then I think we give them some chances so they lead after the first period. Others are quite superior to us as well, says goalkeeper John Westermark.
The home team continued to shoot through the middle period, but there was no result. Instead, Ludwig Warg was able to push Clemensnäs back into the game early in the third period. The visitors had a chance to play the power play in the closing minutes and also took a timeout to regroup, but could not take the lead.
The match went to extra time, and in the end Piteå would draw the longest straw. When Hugo Burlin was shown for hooking and Piteå took a timeout, the home team was finally able to take advantage of the numerical superiority and take the extra point when Oscar Nilsson, the former Skellefteå AIK junior, set the final score.
