“Coventry City would like to put on record its thanks to Adi for the last seven years of service to the Sky Blues and the role that he has played in our achievements over that time, including promotion from League Two to the Championship
“Coventry City wishes Adi the best of luck for the future.”
Viveash joined the club back in 2017, initially as a favour to help his former Walsall teammate Robins out following the illness to Steve Taylor. When Taylor was unable to return for health reasons, Viveash continued in the role which was then made permanent.
The former Chelsea Academy and development coach took charge of day-to-day coaching at the club and is considered a vital part of City’s and Robins’ success in recent years, from League Two promotion via the play-offs to being champions of League One and getting to the Championship play-off finals in 2023.
He also help mastermind an FA Cup quarter final victry over Premier League Wolves and City’s epic semi-final against Manchester United when the club narrowly missed out on making the final.
