Gary Caldwell ahead of Lincoln City
Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to take on Lincoln City away from home on Saturday.
City head to the LNER Stadium looking for four straight league away wins for the first time since 2016 and bounceback from Tuesday night’s home defeat to Derby County.
“They have been consistent recently and have gone on an unbeaten run, so they will be confident,” Gary said of the Imps.
“We know any game in this league is difficult and they will pose us a challenge. We will look at that today and start our preparation for Saturday. We’re in a good place and we are confident.
“We are always disappointed to lsoe but we lost to a team who I think will be in the Championship next season. There were some positive aspects to our play, but other aspects we have to be much better against top teams in the league. We’ll be better for it.
“We have found a way away from home to be hard to beat and the players have worked extremely hard to make it difficult for the opposition.”
