NBA insider Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints recently reported that the Bucks “have held conversations” with the Raptors for Brown. The 27-year-old headed to Toronto a few weeks ago as part of the Pascal Siakam blockbuster trade between the Raptors and the Indiana Pacers. As it turns out, he might be on his way out again.
Brown had a breakout season with the Denver Nuggets last season, and he was an integral part of their title run. He opted to sign with the Pacers as a free agent this past summer, but he hasn’t exactly been able to live up to the lofty expectations that team had on him when they signed him to a two-year, $45 million deal.

For their part, the Bucks reportedly “think highly of, given his ability to impact the game in various ways on both sides of the court.” Brown could be one of the most prominent two-way guards available in the trade market, and it comes as no surprise that Milwaukee is looking in his direction.
Siegel also notes that the Bucks are “motivated to find an immediate upgrade” in their backcourt. The league insider notes that Pat Connaughton and Cameron Payne are the two players who could be left on the outside looking in if the team is able to recruit Brown.
