Alabama football brought a special guest to Wednesday’s practice
Big-time media figures being invited to view practice is nothing new for Alabama, even if that person is an internet sensation.
The Crimson Tide’s social media team shared on Wednesday that the team hosted none other than Roll Tide Willie at practice as he shouted his signature catchphrase to defensive coordinator Kane Wommack.
As Alabama continues to work through spring practice, it’s unclear if Wommack will fully adopt Willie’s defensive strategy but fans will be able to see for sure when the Crimson Tide kicks off A-Day on April 13.

Alabama Transfer Trey Amos Knew Ole Miss was the Best Place for Himself
When Nick Saban retired, Alabama transfer cornerback Trey Amos had doubts about staying with the Crimson Tide. This forced him to make the difficult decision to enter the transfer portal and think about his next move.
Amos spoke on April 2 about his process in making the decision to enter the transfer portal and where his next home should be.
“Once I entered the transfer portal, I started to think about where I should choose—where I would best fit and be more comfortable,” Amos said. I had chosen Ole Miss because I felt like it was pretty much the same system, but more simple. So I can play fast and try to make plays.”
