Cleveland Browns Star Player was confirmed Arrested Following A Domestic Dispute Fans Reactions was Furious
The Cleveland Browns just finished their first preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, and now they are turning their attention to this week’s joint practices with the Minnesota Vikings.
One player who played a lot in the first preseason game was this year’s second-round pick, defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. from Ohio State.
There is a lot to like about Hall on the field, and he could turn into the third-down defensive tackle that can get after the quarterback the Browns have been looking for.
Hall isn’t expected to start this season but will be part of the defensive rotation. However, an incident on Monday night could put all his season plans on hold.
Mike Hall Jr. was involved in an incident on Monday night and is expected to be arrested for a domestic violence dispute, according to Noah Weiskopf, first reported by Zac Jackson.
The Cleveland Browns released a statement on the possible Hall arrest”“We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall, Jr. last night. Mike and his representatives have been in touch with the appropriate authorities. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at the time.”
The Browns can’t seem to stay out of the drama the last few weeks. When everything was going well, the team tried to trade Amari Cooper for San Francisco 49ers star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Aiyuk turned down the deal, which made Cooper mad that the Browns wanted to get rid of him, and now they have to deal with the Mike Hall situation.
Cleveland Browns fans reacted on social media, and here are their thoughts.
A video of Leighton Bennett missing the dart board entirely has been shared online after the Darts Regulation Authority (DRA) announced an investigation into him.
The 18-year-old is currently suspended by the DRA, along with Billy Warriner, under suspicion of match fixing. Bennett is barred from participating in any DRA-sanctioned events, after the International Betting Integrity Association detected suspicious betting patterns in his matches between September 6 and September 9, 2023.
One of the matches under scrutiny is his match against Ryan Harrington in a 2023 Modus Super Series event. Following the announcement, a video clip of a leg between the two showed Bennett wildly missing some doubles and, on one occasion, the board completely.
While trailing Harrington 2-1 on legs, Bennett had the chance to finish off a challenging 164. He started flawlessly, hitting the triple 20 and then the triple 18, leaving himself with a bullseye to finish.
