PWHL Minnesota took the ice on Wednesday night against Boston hoping to extend their winning streak and continue playing well.

That’s exactly what they did, keeping the ball rolling with a 4-0 victory on their home floor. Kendall Coyne Schofield started things off for Minnesota, scoring the first goal of the night but certainly not the last. In the second, Michela Cava put another goal on the scoreboard for Minnesota.

Grace Zumwinkle and Taylor Heise added goals of their own in the third to cement Minnesota’s shutout victory in dominant fashion. In the net, Nicole Hensley played a masterful game as the goaltender for Minnesota, not surrendering anything from start to finish.

Minnesota will not have much time to celebrate, as they will be back on the ice this Saturday as they host New York, who is coming off a 3-2 road overtime loss to Boston on Sunday. After that loss, they will certainly be eager to get back into the win column, so Minnesota will have to be on their toes.
