16 recruits that would be ‘sweet’ additions to the 2025 class

A ‘most wanted’ football recruits but with a Tide Hoops spin!

Nate Oats has led the Crimson Tide back to the Sweet 16 for the third time in the last four years. Only three other schools have done that. The Crimson Tide takes on No. 1 North Carolina at 8:39 p.m. CT on Thursday (CBS).

While Tide Hoops is out west looking to advance to the Elite 8, Kalen DeBoer and the Alabama football team are in the thick of spring practice. Thursday afternoon will mark the first scrimmage and a loaded group of visitors are expected on campus.

Bama247 will have a preview on Thursday morning with a full list of recruits, which includes a five-star quarterback committed elsewhere and the No. 1 EDGE in the country for 2026.

DeBoer and his staff have been on a tear in recruiting. The 2025 class has jumped roughly 25 spots since March 2 with the addition of six commits. The class now ranks No. 6 in the country with eight commits.

More visits are being taken, more conversations are being had and more official visits are being confirmed. We’re still a long way from anything

becoming official, but there is more clarity now compared to two month

s ago.
