Hull City transfer update with trio closing in on moves before January window shuts
It’s expected to be a busy final few days of the winter window at the MKM Stadiu
Hull City look set for a busy end to the transfer window with a host of departures expected to free up space in Liam Rosenior’s squad to bring in new additions before next Thursday’s 11pm deadline.
Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, Jason Lokilo and Matt Ingram are all understood to be the subject of interest from other clubs with City thought to be prepared to sanction their release, while Ryan Woods will be moved on after his season-long loan stint at Bristol Rovers was cut short.
Hull Live understands Allahyar is close to securing a move to Belgian Pro League side Westerlo on loan, while Dogukan Sinik and Ingram are also close to moving away on short-term deals.

Allahyar came close to leaving earlier this month. He was left out of the FA Cup draw with Birmingham City but a move to Dutch Eredivisie outfit Fortuna Sittard failed to materialise. He has since come back into Rosenior’s first team squad, playing an important late cameo in the 1-0 victory at Sunderland last Friday night. However, a move to Belgium is nearing completion, it can be revealed.
Sinik has played just 22 minutes for City since Boxing Day 2022, having seen his spell in East Yorkshire ravaged by injury. He is currently training away from the first team at Cottingham as he builds up his fitness, and is heading back out with a move to the Turkish Super Lig likely while goalkeeper Ingram is also expected to move on.
With first team squad players leaving the MKM Stadium in advance of the window shutting, boss Rosenior, vice-chairman Tan Kesler, Acun Ilicali and the club’s recruitment team continue to work behind the scenes on bringing in attacking talent they believe will give City a helping hand in their quest to finish inside the top six.
