Did David Bakhtiari Drop Massive Hint on Green Bay Packers Future Amid Exit Rumors?

Has David Bakhtiari’s time with the Green Bay Packers come to an end? The two-time All-Pro tackle had another forgettable and injury-riddled 2023 campaign, which has now led to rampant rumors surrounding his future in Green Bay.

According to reports, The Packers are planning to cut ties with the 32-year-old and the $20 million he is projected to earn this coming season. Per Spotrac, Bakhtiari’s big-money deal also carries a whopping $39.9 million hit on Green Bay’s cap in 2024.

David Bakhtiari’s Cryptic Post Amid Questions Surrounding Green Bay Packers Future

Bakhtiari hasn’t really spoken out about his future with the Packers as he enters the final year of his contract. However, the three-time Pro Bowler took to Instagram on Sunday to post what appears to be a cryptic message:

Bakhtiari seems to be calling out his naysayers while also showing his appreciation to the people to continue to believe in him.

The #cantcomebackwithoutasetback hashtag is also quite interesting considering how the veteran is looking to return from a season-ending knee injury that forced him to miss the 2023 season after just one game played.

Bakh could also be referring to potentially coming back to Green Bay for another run in 2024. Whether or not the Packers feel the same way, however, remains to be seen.
