WREXHAM AFC: Our predictions for big FA Cup encounter

I’M not sure whether knowing who you could play in the next round before such a big game is a good thing or bad one.

Newcastle United at home is one big carrot dangling in front of Wrexham’s and Blackburn’s eyes – and there’ll be a lot of pre-match talk concerning such a fabulous fifth round incentive.

And we haven’t got long to find out if the lure of playing The Toon will be a help or a hindrance to Phil Parkinson’s Wrexham tonight.

No matter what the result is at Ewood Park, Wrexham fans will once again be the big winners.

Not put off by the ridiculous 7.30 kick off on a Monday night and by the fact that the game is live on television, Reds supporters snapped up the 7,000 tickets.

The fans have played a massive part in Wrexham’s success over the years and tonight will be no different where the Reds will aim to keep the wheels running on their FA Cup adventure.
