Pittsburgh Steelers Trade For Broncos’ Courtland Sutton In Big Blockbuster Proposal

On the other sided of the trade, the Broncos would be moving on from a bad situation. Sutton and Denver have not had great talks when it comes to his contract. Moving on now would make sense, especially if they can add a quality third-round pick to add more young talent next offseason.

Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers have to be feeling good about the situation they are in heading into the 2024 season. They improved greatly from last season, which still ended in a playoff berth.

Expect to continue hearing rumors about the Steelers as the season draws closer. They would love to make a move for a wide receiver and this one for Courtland Sutton would be a big win for Pittsburgh

s Trade For Broncos’ Courtland Sutton In Big Blockbuster Proposal

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been rumored to be searching for a trade for a wide receiver for weeks now. During the 2024 NFL Draft, many thought they would pull the trigger on a deal for San Francisco 49ers star Brandon Aiyuk. That didn’t happen, and now the Steelers are still in need of a top wide receiver.

George Pickens is currently the No. 1 option for Russell Wilson and it will likely stay that way. However, the Steelers would love to add another receiver who can be a No. 1B type of target.

With the NFL offseason slowing down, there are only a few big names available on the trade market. If the Steelers want to make a sizable move, they’re down to slim pickings.

One name to keep a very close eye on is Denver Broncos star wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who is currently in a contract situation with Denver.

In a new article from Bleacher Report, a trade was suggested that would bring Sutton to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sutton would be a massive addition for the Pittsburgh offense.

Here is what the suggested trade would look like for both the Broncos and Steelers.

Pittsburgh Steelers Receive: Courtland Sutton, 2025 Fifth-Round Pick

Denver Broncos Receive: 2025 Third-Round Pick, 2025 Sixth-Round Pick

Sutton is coming off of yet another big-time season with the Broncos in 2023. He ended up catching 59 passes for 772 yards and 10 touchdowns. Those were big numbers for the way that Denver ran their offense.

For the Pittsburgh Steelers, this deal would be a no-brainer. Being able to have a wide receiver duo of Pickens and Sutton would be elite. They would then be able to have Roman Wilson and Van Jefferson as their No. 3 and No. 4 options.

On the other sided of the trade, the Broncos would be moving on from a bad situation. Sutton and Denver have not had great talks when it comes to his contract. Moving on now would make sense, especially if they can add a quality third-round pick to add more young talent next offseason.
