Leicester City Agree Deal For Winger, Player Still Not Sold On Move
Leicester City have a deal in place with Juventus for Matias Soule but the player is insisting on joining Roma this summer
Soule has been a target for Leicester all summer and the club have been pushing to take the winger to the King Power Stadium.
Their initial bid of €25m was rejected by Juventus but there are claims that a broad agreement is in place between the two clubs.
Leicester and Juventus have reached an agreement over a deal of around €30m for the transfer of Soule to England this summer.
However, according to Italian outlet TuttoJuve, the Foxes still have work to do to convince the player to move to the Premier League.
It has been claimed that Soule is clear about wanting to join Serie A giants Roma this summer.
Roma have managed to sell a move to the Stadio Olimpico this summer but they still do not have a deal in place with Juventus.
The Turin outfit are waiting for Roma to raise their offer and try to find an agreement over a fee.

Callum Doyle admits ‘it’s everyone’s dream’ to work with £378k-a-week Man City man
Callum Doyle has made an admission about Pep Guardiola, having returned to the club this summer after a loan spell with Leicester City.
The young defender is back with Manchester City after spending the 2023/24 campaign in the Championship, which culminated in him achieving promotion with the Foxes.
Doyle started the season really well under Enzo Maresca.
But he suffered a knee injury at the end of September, which put him on the sidelines until January.
Upon returning, Doyle then found it hard to break back into a team that had been doing well and was making a strong push for promotion.
Doyle returned to City after his loan earlier this summer, and is currently in the US for pre-season – and the starlet has been speaking about Pep Guardiola.
Man City youngster Callum Doyle says it is every player’s dream to play for Pep Guardiola
Doyle is with the City squad in the US and will be looking to get some decent minutes ahead of the 2024/25 season.
It is currently still unclear where he will be playing his football, but last week there was a strong suggestion.
There were reports that he was set to sign for Norwich City, having even gone to look at their training ground.
He will supposedly join the Canaries on loan, and the Championship outfit will not have an option to buy.
For the time being, Doyle will look to make an impression in front of £378,000-a-week boss Pep, who is someone he respects deeply.
He told the club’s official website: “It’s everyone’s dream really [to work with Guardiola]. He’s amazing, I’ll just take what he gives.
“It will be great working with very good players again. Learning from them and gaining their experience and using it in my game. It will be great and great to see the lads.”
