Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke as they look to strengthen their squad in the summer.

Solanke’s Impressive Record In Premier League Football

Solanke has enjoyed a productive campaign at the Vitality Stadium as he has put in a lot of fruitful displays for the Cherries in the final third. The English attacker has participated in 42 matches for Bournemouth this season, scoring 21 goals and picking up four assists in multiple competitions.

The 26-year-old has given a good account of himself deep inside the opponent’s half based on his average of 2.9 shots, 1.0 key passes and 1.0 dribbles per game in the Premier League. However, he has lacked quality when distributing possession up top after completing just 73.7% of his attempted passes in the English first division (stats via whoscored).

Solanke is under contract at Bournemouth until the summer of 2027, so it won’t be easy for Tottenham to get a deal over the line for him on the cheap later this year.

Solanke is proficient at finding some space for himself to get a few strikes in at goal and has proven himself to be a capable finisher in the Premier League. He can also engineer the odd chance for his teammates in and around the opponent’s penalty area.
