A former Arkansas defensive lineman signed a free agent contract following the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday night.
Arkansas defensive lineman John Morgan officially signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on Saturday evening. The news comes following the conclusion of the 2024 NFL Draft, which saw two Razorbacks selected.
The 6-2, 270-pound, Maryland native spent just one season at Arkansas after a four-year career at Pittsburgh. He appeared in 11 games for the Hogs and racked up 15 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, a forced fumble and pass deflections. For his entire collegiate career, Morgan appeared in 64 games across five seasons. He recorded 89 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, four forced fumbles and three pass breakups.
Morgan is the second Razorback player to sign an undrafted free agent contract following this year’s draft. He joins Dwight McGlothern, who signed with the Minnesota Vikings earlier on Saturday night
