Hull City casting eyes over midfielder on trial ahead of potential swoop
Hull City are taking a look at Hamilton Academical youngster Lewis Latona on trial, as per a report by the Daily Record.

Latona, 17, has been with the Championship side for the past 10 days and the Tigers have a big decision to make as to whether to offer him a deal to lure him down the border. His future remains up in the air right now.
As per the Daily Record, he won’t feature for his current club in their upcoming Scottish League One play-off clashes against Alloa Athletic as they aim to get promoted back to the second tier after finishing 2nd in the regular season behind runaway winners Falkirk.

Hull City could see Latona as a useful long-term addition and if they are to snap him up, he would most likely link up with their development squad first and foremost with a view to breaking into the senior team down the line.
The teenager has been on the books at Hamilton Academical for his whole career to date and has risen up through their academy ranks.
He has been a regular for the Accies at various different youth levels over recent years and has played once for their first-team so far this season. However, John Rankin’s side will face a battle to keep hold of him now amid interest from the Tigers.
Hull City are yet to publish their retained list following the end of the campaign. They finished 7th after their 1-0 loss away at Plymouth Argyle on the final day and were three points short of the top six in the end with Norwich City and West Brom getting in ahead of them.
It will be a transitional summer now at the MKM Stadium with loanees like Liam Delap, Ryan Giles Fabio Carvalho, Tyler Morton and Noah Ohio due to return to their parent clubs, whilst there are a whole host of players due to become free agents such as Adama Traore, Greg Docherty, Aaron Connolly and Billy Sharp, among others.
New face incoming at Hull City?
There will be both incomings and outgoings at the MKM Stadium and Latona is one who may well come through the entrance door if Hull City decide to offer him some terms.
