Club ‘reach agreement’ to sign Tottenham player – Medical and official announcement pending
Tottenham Hotspur’s Alfie Devine is set to join KVC Westerlo on a loan deal.
That’s according to Gazet van Antwerpen, who state Spurs have ‘reached an agreement’ with the Belgian club for the 20-year-old’s transfer.
Westerlo can sign the Tottenham player as the transfer window in Belgium closes on Friday.
In September 2023, Spurs agreed a deal with Hajduk Split for Luka Vušković to arrive in north London in summer 2025.
The Jupiler Pro League side took 17-year-old on loan from Hajduk Split in July. They had also held talks with Tottenham for the Croatian. It’s claimed the two clubs are in contact every week and a Spurs scout has been following Vušković’s development at Westerlo.
Since then, Westerlo have maintained a ‘good relationship’ with the Premier League side, which has helped them find an agreement for Devine. The attacking midfielder will have to undergo medical tests and sign the contract for the transfer to be made official.
The Spurs official who has been following the Croatian, will soon have another player to keep an eye on at Westerlo.
The England U20 international was on loan at Port Vale and Plymouth Argyle last season. His deal at Spurs lasts until 2027.

Kyle Walker says he actually cried when one manager left Tottenham
Kyle Walker worked with his fair share of managers at Tottenham Hotspur.
From Harry Redknapp to Tim Sherwood to Mauricio Pochettino, Walker learnt under numerous coaches during his time at Spurs.
Of course, not all of those managers were successful, and one gaffer who didn’t have the most success at Spurs was Andre Villas-Boas.
The Portuguese gaffer lasted just over a year at Tottenham before he was sacked by Daniel Levy.
Tottenham fans didn’t necessarily mourn Villas-Boas’ departure after a poor run of form, but according to Kyle Walker, speaking on his podcast, the Tottenham squad were devastated when the former Chelsea boss departed.

Kyle Walker gutted when Villas-Boas left Tottenham
The right-back spoke about his former Spurs boss.
“He was so nice, and that killed him, he was too nice. When he left. I’ll never forget it, we were in the auditorium and we caught wind that he was going and Levy sacked him,” Walker said.
“He was still in the building and he came downstairs and he started crying in front of us. I had tears running down my eyes, Michael Dawson is welling, he couldn’t stop crying. We probably didn’t do him justice on the pitch, but for 10 or 12 men to be crying because the manager has gone, he did something well in the dressing room.”
Villas-Boas had to go
While Tottenham’s players were sad to see Villas-Boas leave, getting rid was the right decision.
